This is a picture of a Zodiac and the twelve signs it is comprised of. These are the categories with which people associate (based on their birth month) and then derive their horoscope from. I thought this was an appropriate primary source, because a lot of astrology (actually, most of astrology) deals with the Zodiac. The twelve signs of the Zodiac are:
